I was in the med room when a nurse said, "Your eyes sure do look long today."

"I know. I had a really long weekend."

"But, it's Thursday," she told me.

"Is it already?"


The fact is Dern, Sean, and I went non-stop for six days dancing, drinking, sea kayaking, BBQ'ing, clam baking, hiking in Half Moon Bay, touring the Mission, scenic driving, poker gaming, and staying up every night until 2, 3, or 4 in the morning.

It was an awesome six day vacation. The funny thing is I actually worked on two of those days.
