My flight was scheduled to leave Delhi at 2:30 AM.

The plane took off at 4:30 AM. They gave no explanation for the delay.

I hung out in the Delhi airport for five and a half hours.


There's no excuse for a country with nuclear weapons to be so back asswards. You can't feed your people. You treat airport immigration and customs as if it were the Wall Street trading floor. There's no standard method for trash pick-up.

But you have the capability to annihilate the world seven times over and cause a nuclear winter?

India, GET IT TOGETHER!!!

What are your priorities?

Simple advice:

1) Use birth control. Make it a patriotic act.

2) Abolish the caste system.

3) Make every Indian man watch five episodes of Oprah or read a translation of The Vagina Monologues.

4) Adopt a softer, kinder, more loving form of progressive Hinduism. Promote a secular government.

These simple steps will make India a true world super power and an economic giant. Tourists will flock to the country. Trains will be clean. Planes will leave on time. The whole world will be saved from Hepatitis A and nuclear holocaust.
