Dirtyknees...

"Why is this dripping?" is never a good question.

Highlights of the camel safari include: falling off a camel on the fourth day, surviving the heat by sitting motionless in the shade of shrubbery, chasing semi-wild goats in order get their milk to make chai, wearing my turban for photos but realizing it is senseless to wear it any other time, comparing the safari to Air Force survival training and realizing it's a lot more difficult to survive the Indian desert than to eat two square MRE's a day and attend lectures on how to make a fire and evade enemy capture.

It was a fantastic experience, but I wouldn't want to be out there again for more than four hours. The tribes who live out there are happy, but, man, do they have a rough life.
