There are two options to get there: slow boat or the insanely fast boat. The slow boat takes two days with a single night layover. The fast boat takes eight hours and travels like a Return of the Jedi speeder bike swerving in and out of the way of exposed river boulders, tree limbs, water buffalo, and various other forms of flotsam and jetsam. Some people choose to wear a helmet when they are available. People actually die, bi-weekly, on such boats. We survived a two hour ride already, so we're not pressing our luck.
