No pharmacies around. The mosquitoes aren't too bad here though.

Krista and I just finished breakfast in a beautiful Balinese garden restaurant a 1/4 mile from our hotel. The meal was fair and the coffee superb. The entire meal was quite expensive by this area's standards at a total of $8 U.S.

Krista is planning to take a hired taxi/guide up to Bali's cultural center, Ubud. I'm gong to try to meet the driver, too, just in case I need him later. He came highly recommended from Airtreks.

I want to hike the 25 miles northeast to Ubud starting Monday. I plan on hitting the expat party scene in central Kuta over the weekend. I need a map and a prayer for Monday. Sounds like a little adventure. Hope for dry weather.
